Meet Rachel Benavidez

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist 139106 Perinatal Mental Health Certified

Pregnancy and the transition to motherhood can lead to significant changes, but many women also experience unexpected feelings of anxiety, sadness, and emotional strain. If you find yourself dealing with prenatal anxiety, postpartum depression, intrusive thoughts, or persistent worries about your baby know that you're not alone. Therapy can provide a sense of grounding, support, and confidence. I incorporate somatic and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my practice to help women understand how stress, anxiety, and trauma can be within the body. By learning to recognize bodily signals and working with them gently, we can alleviate feelings of overwhelm, regulate the nervous system, and foster emotional healing.
